ICC officially released the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026, which is set to take place from February 7 to March 8. The defending champions are grouped alongside Pakistan, the USA, Namibia, and the Netherlands in Group A. India's Group Stage matches are scheduled to take place in Mumbai, Delhi, Colombo, and Ahmedabad, respectively.

India's campaign will start on the 7th of February when they take on the USA in Mumbai at 7 PM. India had faced them in the T20 World Cup in 2024 as well, when they claimed a win. On the same day, Pakistan will face the Netherlands, while the West Indies will be up against Bangladesh.

India's second match will take place five days later, on the 12th of February. The home side will be up against Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi from 7 PM. India last faced Namibia in the T20 World Cup in 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai, which they won.

India to face Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 15 in the T20 World Cup 2026

The biggest match of Group A will take place on the 15th of February between India and Pakistan. The match will take place at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from 7 PM. India has beaten Pakistan 7 times and lost only once in their eight faceoffs in the history of the T20 World Cups.

India's last Group Stage match is scheduled to take place against the Netherlands. Their match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on the 18th of February at 7 PM. If India finishes in the top two in their group, they will progress to the Super 8 stage.
