The visitors have retained the same team that played the second game in Chennai on Saturday. Brendon McCullum and Jos Buttler have shown faith in stars like Ben Duckett, Phil Salt, and Liam Livingstone who haven’t had a great start to the tour so far. England has to win the game on Tuesday if they fancy any hopes of winning the series against India.
England skipper Jos Buttler sounded optimistic at the end of the game in Chennai when he said “It was great to watch everyone in action and pushed them really close. Really pleased with the way we went about with the bat. We lost a few wickets but the aggression was there that we asked for, really took the game on and got to almost nearly a defendable score. Really happy with the style we played. Lots of positives”

29-year-old Brydon Carse was inspirational with the bat and ball during the second T20I against India. The right-arm pacer then bowled with fire to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, and Washington Sundar. England will hope Brydon Carse can keep his form going and contribute well with the bat and ball in Rajkot

Rashid is also more than capable with the bat and has already scored 18 runs while batting lower down the order. With Rajkot known to offer spin and bounce, veteran Adil Rashid will be a huge threat for India.

Skipper Jos Buttler has been the leading light for England with the bat during the opening two games of the series. Buttler has already scored 113 runs with knocks of 68 in Kolkata and 45 in Chennai. The 34-year-old now has 611 runs against India and needs 38 runs to go past Virat Kohli to become the highest scorer in India vs England T20 matches. Buttler, knows the conditions in India very well thanks to his IPL experience and has been the best batter for his side so far. If Buttler gets going, then India’s bowlers know that they could endure a long night in the park.
