Imran Tahir proved once again that age is just a number, as he led Guyana Amazon Warriros to a dominant win in the Global Super League with his captaincy and bowling performances. As a result, Tahir became the Player of the Tournament at the age of 46 and showed veterans could continue playing if they can perform for the team.

Guyana played 4 matches in the league stage and lost only one of them. Their net run rate of +1.806 was the highest for a team by the end of the league stage, which showed how they were dominant in wins and did not lose their matches badly. Without a doubt, Warriors had the best team in the tournament and deservedly won.

Tahir claimed 14 wickets in 5 innings at a sensational average of 9.28, at a great strike rate of 8.42, and an economy rate of 6.61, including two 4-wicket hauls to win the POTT.
