After a disappointing loss against Bangladesh, former Pakistan players were fired up on the team selection and have raised several questions. Ahmad Shehzad, Pakistan's former batter, opened up about the loss and said that he was extremely embarrassed and had never seen the Men In Green going down this way in his life. He also blamed the selection committee for choosing players in the series.
"I haven't seen Pakistan go this low in my life. Batting, bowling and fielding is a discussion for another day. But this is a new low in Pakistan cricket. It will be very tough for them to recover from this defeat. They haven't recovered from the defeat against Afghanistan until today," Shehzad said in a video shared on social media.
؟#PAKvBAN pic.twitter.com/AdXZhy3z7n

From declaring the innings to losing the game, Pakistan created history as Bangladesh won their 1st ever Test match against the neighbours in their own backyard. After travelling to Pakistan amidst such chaos, it was an important win for the team to raise their confidence and mental strength. They lead the 2-match Test series, and if they manage to win the 2nd game, they'll clean sweep Pakistan and rise up in the WTC 2025 points table.
The historic downfall of the Pakistan team has begun: Ahmad Shehzad
Ahmad Shehzad raised some important questions in the video he released on social media, which should be an awakening call for the Pakistan selectors. While it could have been an easy win for the team, they allowed the match to slip away which wasn't a good thing to do. Losing against Bangladesh was something that might have hurt the players as well.
"The historic downfall of the Pakistan team has begun. The nation has been lied to again and again and today, after the historic humiliating defeat by Bangladesh, the dirty joke has been played again. Whom should the nation ask for an answer from and whose throat should they grab? Who is responsible for all these situations?" added Shehzad.
