During his recent chat with noted British Newspaper the Telegraph, Harry Brook revealed the advice that Ben Stokes had given him just as the England team was set to hit the Indian shores. According to the talented batter the chat happened in the middle-east while the Three Lions were getting themselves ready for the long series.

Harry Brook said “I had a couple of conversations with him (Stokes) and he basically said whatever happens family is the most important thing and you’d regret going back to play cricket if something happened than if you were at home and something happened. I did the right thing.

England the defending champions will be looking to keep their crown safe as they play the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA. Harry Brook who is part of the side will be one of the key players for Jos Buttler and his team with his natural attacking talents.

During his chat with the media Brook said "I did try and nail as much practice and fitness as I could and get myself in the right headspace. I was travelling a lot so to have that little break from cricket was good and I was raring to go again when I went back and played for Yorkshire."

“We fancy our chances, we’ve got a good side good depth in T20 Cricket, we’re confident we can bring it home again. We need to be a bit more relaxed, probably stay in the moment a little bit more as a group and personally” said Harry Brook about his aspirations from the tournament.

England will begin their T20 World Cup tournament with a game against Scotland which will be played in Barbados on 4th June. The main clash for the England side comes four days later when they take on Australia at the same venue before playing Oman and Namibia in Antigua on the 13th and 15th of June.
