Harbhajan Singh put an end to the questions on Virat Kohli's fitness at his age. The former Indian cricketer felt there was no need to raise a question on someone like Kohli's fitness. The 2011 World Cup winner claimed that fitness is synonymous with Virat and added that he's like a teacher in that regard.
The former teammate of Virat regarded him to be fitter than a majority of current cricketers. He argued Virat Kohli to be the fittest player in the cricketing world and felt fitness would be the last thing to worry about the star batter.

"Please don’t ask any questions about Virat’s fitness. When it comes to fitness, he’s a guru. Everyone follows what he does. There’s absolutely no concern about Virat Kohli’s fitness; he’s fit, probably fitter than many of those currently playing alongside him. In today’s international cricket, he’s arguably the fittest player out there," Harbhajan said in Amul Cricket Live.
"I'm just looking forward to seeing Virat back in action," - Harbhajan Singh
Kohli has been out of action for a fairly long period of time. His last appearance in a cricket match was during the IPL 2025 final between RCB and Punjab Kings. Since then, the veteran hasn't played a cricket match. Much like the fans, Harbhajan was eager to see Virat return to action during the ODI series between India and Australia.

"Now, I’m just looking forward to seeing Virat back in action. Fans have missed watching him, and personally, I’d love to see him continue playing the ODI format for a while longer because he still has so much to offer," Harbhajan added in his statement. India will play Australia in their backyard in a series of 3 ODIs and T20Is respectively.
