The first-timers in the T20 World Cup history, USA have made it to the super-8 stage of the tournament in their first-ever appearance in the tournament. USA’s spot in the super-8 was confirmed after their last group stage got abandoned due to rain, with both teams sharing one point each.

Meanwhile, the USA players were seen in a delighted interaction in the dressing room after their game washed out against Ireland. Amidst all this, the star USA pacer Ali Khan happened to recreate the hilarious interview of Andre Russell in the Bangladesh Premier League 2024.

Ali was heard asking Aaron Jones, “First World Cup, you perform what happening? First game you perform what happening?” the famous line of a Bangladeshi reporter when he was interviewing the Caribbean stalwart Andre Russell after a BPL match.

Furthermore, Jones came up with a hilarious reply saying, “What do you mean?”

They have become the second team from Group A to qualify for the super-8 stage, alongside the inaugural champions India.
