‘Everyday it’s becoming worse’ – Rishabh Pant calls out fan on social media for spreading fake news

Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant angrily reacts to a fan on social media after the fan tried to spread fake rumors about his potential move to RCB

Indian wicketkeeper and batter Rishabh Pant posted a stern reply to a fan who had posted fake on social media. The fan in question had put up an image of Pant in RCB colours. The headline of the tweet read, “Rishabh Pant approached RCB”. 

The fan in question also posted fur,ther “Pant approached RCB through his manager earlier this week as he foresees a captaincy vacancy there but got declined by RCB's management. Virat doesn't want Pant in RCB due to his Political Tactics in Indian team as well as in DC.” The tweet also credited to an RCB source.

Rishabh Pant put out an angry reply which read, “Fake news . Why do you guys spread so much fake news on social media. Be sensible guys so bad . Don’t create untrustworthy environment for no reason. It’s not the first time and won’t be last but I had to put this out .please always re check with your so called sources. Everyday it’s becoming worst . Rest it’s upto you guys . It’s wasn’t just for you it’s for a lot for people who is spreading misinformation. Tc”

Fan puts out apology tweet for Rishabh Pant 

The fan later put out an apology to Pant and wrote, “Apologies to @RishabhPant17 for that Pant to RCB tweet. I genuinely feeling bad for that tweet as I always claim to stick with Facts & Stats, apologies to my followers too. Pant did the right thing, I hope Pant & other big names expose these so called source based big Journos.”

Meanwhile, Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has praised the Indian wicketkeeper and batter. The 32-year-old during his chat with Star Sports had said that he wished that Pant was an Australian. 

Speaking to Star Sports, the Australian star said, “He's a ripping bloke. I wish he was Australian. He's obviously been through a lot over the last few years, and it's been a hell of a comeback. He's a positive guy, still really young, and he loves winning. He's highly competitive for someone who has the persona of being relaxed and always laughing and smiling. He's got that big smile”

The all-rounder also said, “The Indian cricketer I believe is most Australian would be Rishabh Pant. I think the way he goes about his aggressive nature and his work ethic would make him very enjoyable to play with.”
