Former Indian and Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has revealed one surprising detail about Virat Kohli. According to the 39-year-old, Virat Kohli is deeply fascinated and interested in the subject of aliens.
Dinesh Karthik made these comments during a chat with CRICBUZZ, the former India and RCB revealed how Virat Kohli is fascinated by this subject. “I don't believe in aliens. Actually, I don't have much knowledge in that domain. But I'll tell you who's interested in aliens and who's read up about it, knows a bit about it. You'll be surprised, yes, Virat Kohli”
It is to be noted that Dinesh Karthik recently retired from the game after playing IPL 2024 season with RCB. The franchise were quick to announce Dinesh Karthik as the new mentor as well as the new batting coach for the next season.
Virat Kohli’s fascination for aliens surprised Dinesh Karthik
During the course of his chat with CRICBUZZ, Dinesh Karthik also said “I remember him showing me a YouTube video about aliens spotted in America or some place in Nevada. I forgot the name exactly. It's not something that's top of my list in terms of memory, but I know he was very interested in that subject”
Virat Kohli called time on his T20I Career along with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra after India’s successful World Cup campaign. When asked who can replace the iconic duo by CRICBUZZ, Dinesh Karthik was quick to reply.
The former Indian star said “First of all they are very hard to replace. But in the XI, I do think there are four choices at the moment. There’s Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma and Shubman Gill”
Dinesh Karthik also said “I think Yashasvi Jaiswal will definitely be starting in the XI in T20 Cricket”. Team India recently toured Zimbabwe with a young side and won the series 4-1 under the captaincy of Shubman Gill.
The men in blue will next play Sri Lanka before enjoying a short break. Post the break India will play its home season as they get ready to host Bangladesh and New Zealand before heading down under for the tour of Australia towards the end of the year.
