The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host the table toppers, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the eighth game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The game will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 PM (IST).

Both teams are coming off a win in their respective campaign openers against KKR and MI; Rajat Patidar’s RCB defeated the defending champions, KKR by 7 wickets in the tournament opener. On the other hand, CSK defeated their arch-rivals, Mumbai Indians by 4 wickets in their campaign opener at the same venue.
