In May, India experienced one of the most horrific incidents lately, as some tourist families were attacked by the terrorists in the Pahalgam valley, resulting in multiple deaths. The Indian government launched a counter attack in the name of 'Operation Sindoor', destroying the terror camps and their supporters in Pakistan.

Following the incident, there was a breach of ceasefire from Pakistan, which led to tensions between the two countries. Everything related to Pakistan was banned in India, and the fans naturally expected BCCI to not play Pakistan in a cricket match ever again.

However, it is not the case, as India will play Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 match on September 14. The move has not gone well with the fans, who are still in the pain of the deaths of several innocents in the Pahalgam attack. BCCI's decision to have a relationship with PCB has led to severe backlash from the fans.

Amidst the backlash and call for boycott, the match between India and Pakistan will happen, as the players themselves have not pulled out. The ticket sales have been oddly soar for the match, which otherwise attracts sell-outs in every Indo-Pak match. Hence, there is a visible anger among the Indian fans with respect to what happened in Pahalgam.
