England opener Ben Duckett has made himself available for the third and final Test versus West Indies starting on Friday. England have already wrapped up the series after the win in the second Test at Trent Bridge with the final game to be played in Edgbaston.

Ben Duckett and their partner have welcomed young Margot on Wednesday. At a time when many cricketers give birth to their child preference, Ben Duckett has put the national duties on top.

England will be thrilled that Ben Duckett will be available since he has been in top form. It was Ben Duckett who gave England a great start in the previous match where the home team scored the fastest team fifty in Test cricket history.

England looks for complete domination

It has been an easy first two Tests for the England cricket team as they have won versus West Indies with ease at Lord’s and Trent Bridge. Former West Indian pacer Ian Bishop has given a rallying call to the visiting side to avoid the whitewash.

West Indies Cricket’s X handle put out a short video with Ian Bishop saying, “If the guys can hear me now, they have to pick themselves up. I know it's hard and I know maybe a lot of the mental energy was drained by their application with the bat in that first innings' magnificent score and the sort of capitulation in the second innings. But Edgbaston is important to continue learning."

The former pacer also said, “The Richards-Botham trophy goes to England but then there is the South Africa series on the back end. So you one-to-one know that you represent the people of West Indies. In every game, you play with pride and that should be enough to energize you."

“And If that's not enough, you're coming up against South Africa less than a week or about a week late on. And you want to go there with confidence. So there is still a lot to play for a team that's still learning” Ian Bishop further added.
