The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday (August 22) announced the schedule for Team India’s five-match Test series against England in 2025. Rohit Sharma and Co. will travel to the United Kingdom for the riveting series which is part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.

Headingley will host the opening match starting on June 20, following the WTC 2023-25 final. Both teams will then head to Edgbaston for the second Test. The third match will be played at Lord’s while Manchester’s Old Trafford will host the fourth. The series will conclude on August 4 at the Oval.

The Men in Blue last visited England in 2021 under Virat Kohli's captaincy and the series ended in a 2-2 draw. Notably, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series had to be suspended after four matches with India leading 2-1. The last match was then played in 2022 which England won by seven wickets.
