Former Australian batter Matthew Hayden took a huge dig at Virat Kohli while on commentary duties. India’s former skipper was out for 3 runs to record yet another failure with the bat. Josh Hazlewood had Kohli caught behind by Alex Carey as Kohli’s struggles with the 4th stump line came under focus.

Matthew Hayden could presumably be heard saying, “AUS ka boss is gone. He couldn’t get going, and the ball outside the off stump has once again done the trick." It is to be noted that Kohli has been dismissed caught behind the wicket or in the slips during the ongoing tour of Australia.

There were reports before the start of the game that the former India skipper was working to overcome his biggest deficiency. Team India were three wickets down for 22 runs before rains came down. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the first man out for 4, while Shubman Gill was out for 1, as both batters fell to Mitchell Starc.

Matthew Hayden slams Marnus Labuschagne after his spat with Mohammed Siraj

Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne was in the news for his funny spat with Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj. During the 2nd day of the Brisbane Test match, Siraj walked to Labuschagne and changed the bail. The batter promptly reversed the move and soon lost his concentration.

In the next over, Nitish Kumar Reddy got the wicket of Labuschagne caught in the slips by Virat Kohli. Former Aussie batter Matthew Hayden slammed Labuschagne and said, “He saw 55 deliveries, has had no go forward whatsoever. Even that little exchange, if it was me at the crease and a bowler does that. I am not caring less.”

The former Australian opener went on to add, “I'm not even looking at the bowler. I'm not acknowledging what he's doing one bit. He's nowhere near my space. In fact, I probably would have told him to get out of my space before he even got to the bails." Mohammed Siraj has been in the news for getting boeed by the Australian crowd after his altercation with Travis Head in Adelaide.
