Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was in the thick of action yet again during the second day of the Gabba Test. The 30-year-old has been booed by the crowd for his altercation with Travis Head during the 2nd Test in Adelaide. Siraj was involved in yet another confrontation with Marnus Labuschagne on the second day of the game.
The incident happened in the 33rd over when Siraj who wasn’t getting a wicket walked past the batter. Indian bowler brushed past Labuschagne and decided to change the bails in an attempt to change his fortunes. This act got more boos from the crowd as Siraj walked away.

Marnus Labuschagne wasn’t happy as he quickly changed the bails back to their original place. Even the commentators were heard laughing after this funny exchange between the two players. This isn’t the first time that Siraj and Labuschagne have butted. Both players had run-ins with each other during the opening two games of the series as well.
It seemed that the little exchange with Mohammed Siraj seemed to affect Australian number 3 batter. Marnus Labuschagne was soon dismissed in the very next over to give India huge wicket just before the lunch break in Brisbane.
The second ball of the 34th over saw Nitish Kumar Reddy tempt Labuschagne for a drive and the batter was happy to obliged. Virat Kohli took an easy catch to send back the Aussie batter for 12 runs after having faced 55 balls. India’s former skipper turned to the crowd and was seen celebrating the wicket in his trademark fashion.
Earlier in the day, Jasprit Bumrah struck twice in two overs to give the visitors great start to the day. Usman Khwaja was out for 21 after facing 54 balls when he was caught behind by Pant who registered his 150th dismissal in Test cricket. Bumrah who has been the best bowler in the series so far got his 13th wicket of the tour.
Wicket number 14 arrived when Nathan McSweeney was caught by Virat Kohli to give India their second wicket. The 26-year-old scored just 9 runs after playing 39 balls before perishing early on Sunday.
