Stubbs had hit the ball so far that there was a stoppage in play as the officials brought out new ball. Siddharth continued to bowl from round the wicket and pitched the ball on the middle stump and beat the batter for turn. Stubbs could only look behind in utter shock as the ball turned a lot and hit the top of his off-stump.

The bowler cupped his hands near his ears and made his way to the teammates. DC fans who had come to watch the game in Vizag went silent at the fall of the wicket. Stubbs was out after scoring 34 runs from just 22 balls. The right-handed batter hit one four in his knock and also hit three huge sixes.
