Over the years, many players have played for both KKR and SRH in the IPL. One of the biggest names that comes to mind is that of Yusuf Pathan who enjoyed a glorious run with KKR and then went to play for the SRH side. Former Bangladeshi skipper Shakib Al Hasan is yet another player who has been part of both sides.

Amongst the current players, Quinton De Kock played a handful of matches for SRH in the 2013 season. This was followed by the spells with Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and few glorious years with Mumbai Indians before moving to Lucknow Super Giants. De Kock is now playing for KKR and scored a tremendous 97 not out vs Rajasthan Royals to help his side win the contest.

Here are the 3 active players to play for both KKR and SRK in IPL history

India’s pace ace Mohammed Shami began his career with Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2013 season. Shami who was part of just three games on his IPL season debut managed to pick a single wicket. The right-seamer then spent four seasons in Delhi before moving Punjab and followed it up with a stint in Gujarat Titans. It was during his time in GT that Shami won the IPL title and picked 48 wickets from 33 games. The 34-year-old is now with SRH and has picked two wickets from three games in what has been an underwhelming start to life with his new team.

2. Manish Pandey

The first ever Indian batter to score an IPL century a player who was thought to be a natural talent. Manish Pandey failed to make the most of his chances for India and in the last few years, the veteran batter has fallen off the radar in the IPL as well. Pandey began his IPL career with Mumbai Indians then went home to RCB the following season. After his sting with Pune for three seasons, KKR came calling. Pandey is currently in his third sting with KKR and so far has played 57 games for the three IPL winners and scored 1331 runs with six half-centuries. Pandey’s numbers with SRH are just as impressive with 1345 runs from 51 games with an average of 35 along with 12 half-centuries.

1. Pat Cummins

SRH skipper Pat Cummins began his IPL career with KKR where he played four games in the first two seasons and picked two wickets. After his one season spell with Delhi in 2017, Cummins didn’t play the IPL till the 2020 season where he was purchased by KKR once more. In those 26 games, Cummins managed to pick 28 wickets with the ball. Cummins also scored a 14-ball half-century for KKR against Mumbai Indians during the 2022 season. The move to SRH has made huge difference for Cummins who has not only become the captain of the side but also managed to make the team into one of the feared outfits in the league. It was under Cummins’ captaincy that SRH reached the finals last year and lost to Kolkata in a one-sided contest.
