Michael Jordan was perhaps the biggest athlete of the 1990s. Leading the Chicago Bulls to six titles, the five-time MVP proved to the NBA why he was the best player to have ever played in the league. Michael Jackson was awarded several championships as well as various individual accolades. "His Airness" won six Finals MVP crowns, eleven scoring titles, one DPOY trophy, and five NBA MVP honors.

Even though Michael Jordan's performance was far from perfect, his on-court swagger was a major factor in why fans across the globe enjoyed seeing the 6'6" shooting guard play.MJ certainly put on a show on the court, whether it was by giving it his all or even by trash-talking opponents and supporting it.

On November 23, 1991, Chicago Bulls and the Dikembe Mutombo-led Denver Nuggets played a similar game. Mutombo was well-known for his iconic finger wag when he stopped a shot and was arguably one of the most well-known shot blockers of his generation. Mutombo was unquestionably a great shot blocker, but his free-throw shooting was one of his worst flaws.

Chicago Bulls won the game

When Michael Jordan faced the Nuggets during the 1991 preseason, he closed his eyes and made a pair of free shots. Even though it was the regular season, he undoubtedly wanted to repeat the same. Even so, Michael Jordan gave the large man a cruel nighttime teasing session. "His Airness" made a funny comment to Mutombo after making a basket, then closed his eyes to make another free throw.

Furthermore adding spice to injury, the Bulls went on to win the game 107-100 against Denver Nuggets. Jordan made spectacular baskets from all around the court in that game, totaling 37 points. Without a doubt, Michael Jordan prevailed in the troll war and proved that, in addition to his sense of humor, he was also capable of making free throws while closing his eyes.
