This week, WWE Superstar and potential Hall of Famer Randy Orton made it plain that he doesn't like LeBron James, the great player for the Los Angeles Lakers and an NBA icon. When James was mentioned as one of the greatest athletes of all time, WWE's YouTube channel included an appearance by Cody Rhodes on What Do You Wanna Talk About? but Orton was not amused.

Like many other sports, professional wrestling has its GOAT (greatest of all time) debates, and Rhodes brought up the NBA argument between LeBron and Michael Jordan as the highlight of the discussion. When Rhodes mentioned LeBron, Orton shot back, "F--k LeBron."

Watch here the video:

Though James is not his GOAT, Randy Orton did not elaborate on his remark, so it is unclear if he is just a LeBron hater or if he firmly believes that Jordan is the GOAT and shouldn't be compared to others. The 44-year-old Orton is among the most accomplished performers in pro wrestling history; on the all-time list, his 14 world title reigns are second only to John Cena's 16 and Ric Flair's 16 titles. That may indicate that Orton prioritizes titles over all else when discussing the GOAT, and if so, it is understandable why he may think highly of Jordan.

LeBron James proved why he is great player

MJ twice achieved the NBA championship three-peat while playing with the Chicago Bulls. He won six titles altogether and was named to the NBA Finals each time. LeBron James, on the other hand, has just four titles and four NBA Finals MVP honors despite being the NBA's all-time top scorer.

James, however, proved that he is still at the top of his game even at 39 years old when he assisted Team USA in winning a gold medal in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris this month. When Orton confronts Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin later this month, he will attempt to demonstrate that he is still among the best in the business.
