However, as per reports Paul George was said to be out of the game for the second half. The 6-foot-8 forward then sustained a hyperextended knee, according to the Sixers. More details on George's future condition should be released by the Sixers, probably including how much time he will miss due to this knee injury, if at all.
Joel Embiid ruled out for preseason
Joel Embiid, the center, was benched by the Sixers on Sunday for the remainder of the preseason due to what the team referred to as left knee management. The franchise has been cautious with its best players. Joel Embiid was placed on an individual treatment plan by the Sixers to address a persistent knee injury, preventing him from playing against the Hawks and has already ruled him out for the entire preseason. Meanwhile, both Paul George and Joel Embiid aren't expected to play 75 games in the regular season, according to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Philadelphia 76ers may decide to keep George off the court until the regular season with two preseason games left to give him enough time to heal from Monday's injury.
