Now that the NBA is back in full swing, we can once again see the brilliance of Luka Doncic, the star of the Dallas Mavericks. On Thursday night, he performed brilliantly in the Mavericks' season-opening game against the San Antonio Spurs.
It was a back-and-forth contest, but Dallas Mavericks took the lead in the third quarter, scoring 40–30 points more than the Spurs. Luka Doncic, who had 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists going into the fourth quarter, was a major player. One of the assists was very noteworthy and was displayed in the second half.
Luka Doncic stumbled but soon recovered as he drove to the lane and pushed the pace up the floor. PJ Washington was facing away from him when he made the split-second choice to make a spectacular over-the-head, no-look ball that sent Washington into the corner for a pull-up three. The moment left the announcers and audience in a state of awe and fascination.

Dallas Mavericks wins first game of NBA season
Throughout his NBA and professional career, Doncic has accomplished incredible things, solidifying his place among the world's top players. Nevertheless, his on-court prowess never ceases to astound the basketball community. Doncic and the Mavericks are in a crucial season. Klay Thompson was brought in by the squad to help them in their quest to return to the promised land after he made his first appearance in the NBA Finals.
The offensive will still be carried out by Doncic and Kyrie Irving, his co-conspirator. Picking up where they left off last season, the Mavericks found their stride after a sluggish start on Thursday night. Klay Thompson scored 22 points in his Dallas debut, Luka Doncic finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds, and the Mavericks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 120-109 in their first meeting of the season on Thursday. With seven rebounds from Thompson and eight assists from Doncic, Kyrie Irving scored 15 points for the reigning Western Conference winners.
