LeBron and Bronny James were the first father-son duo to play together, in the history of NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers' second preseason game on October 6th was the turning point. However, fans are unlikely to see the James combo play together again in preseason action since the 2024–25 NBA regular season is just a few days away. Despite not playing in Thursday's Lakers game against the Phoenix Suns, LeBron remained on the bench and in full coach-teammate mode.

A player with one of the NBA's most remarkable gameplay gave some guidance to a rookie teammate before the season began, rather like a parent giving his kid instruction during a game. Yet again, the NBA player had not witnessed anything like it and most likely he never will, it will always be hard to deny how special these moments are.

When LeBron James' son, Bronny James, attempted a dunk during Thursday's Lakers vs. Suns preseason game, Kevin Durant wasn't letting him get away with it. The play took place in the fourth quarter when the Lakers created a simple plan to give Bronny a clear path to the rim, but Durant suddenly appeared in the video.

Kevin Durant was given a foul penalty even though he had a piece of the ball because he collided with Bronny before to making the block. The call was even challenged by the Suns, but the foul was upheld. Bronny James attempted two shots from the line but was unable to convert either.

Will Bronny James team up with LeBron James during NBA season?

One major concern surrounding the 20-year-old guard as the preseason draws to a close is what his first NBA season will be like. It would be shocking if Bronny James didn't play for LeBron and company for a long time, but he will probably spend some time with the South Bay Lakers, the team's G League affiliate.

The South Bay Lakers are expected to be Bronny's route to regular playing time, but up until now, the team's strategy for the youngster has received virtually little attention. Although it will take time, one thing is for sure: fans can anticipate seeing LeBron and Bronny play together sooner rather than later during the regular season.
