On Friday evening in the Game 3 match between Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets at Target Centre the point guard for Minnesota Timberwolves Jamal Murray received lot of boos each time he got hands on the ball.
His earlier violation during the clubs' last Western Conference Semifinals match caused a tremendous hatred among the Minneapolis audience. Mark Jones, an ESPN commentator, labelled Murray as Public Enemy No. 1 while airing live, admitting the well-known cause.
This rivalry dates back to Game 2, when Jamal Murray, upset by the referee's calls, threw a hot pack into the court. The event, which caused no injuries and avoided him immediate punishment, ended in a $100,000 fine once the NBA determined his fault.

As Game 3 progressed, his antics plainly irritated the spectators, who showed their dislike for Murray. The supporters in attendance were clearly unhappy by his disruptive behaviour on the sidelines during the game. Meanwhile Denver Nuggets won the game over Minnesota Timberwolves and opened their account in the series.
Many individuals who are not Nuggets players, staff, or fans are outraged by the decision to let Jamal Murray play in Friday night's Game 3 between Denver and Minnesota. He received a $100,000 punishment from the NBA for tossing a towel and then a hot pack at seasoned referee Marc Davis after disagreeing with his calls.
Both things were tossed from the Denver bench, and the towel came to a halt before hitting Davis, who was unaware of the scenario while attempting a free shot. Though it was swiftly dismissed, it certainly might have caused a player to trip and be harmed.
The NBA reportedly learned towards a fine rather than punishment owing to Murray's new record, but some league insiders believe the Nuggets' 0-2 series disadvantage entering Minnesota may have also affected the decision.
