Jamal Murray outfoxed Lebron James to claim an incredible 2-pointer in Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs 2024. It turned out to be a crucial couple of points for the Nuggets, as eventually, the match turned out to be close and they had won it by just a couple of points. The entire formation in the lead-up moment was brilliant. Denver tracked down the defenders of the Lakers well.

From outside of the box, Denver Nuggets got the assistance. In the Western Conference match, Murray got brilliant assistance from his teammate amidst a potential block from as many as three defenders. Jamal wasted no time to claim a 2-pointer. LeBron James stationed himself near the basket to stop a potential 2-pointer. However, Murray outclassed the star player to fetch two points.

It was a brilliant effort from James too. Returning from the calf injury that he sustained weeks back, James moved well on the court. However, Jamal Murray was too good. With 4 minutes and 12 seconds left in the game, the score was 95-95. The 2-pointer from Murray gave a 2-point lead to the Nuggets. They managed to hold on to the lead for the rest of the game against the Lakers. 

Denver Nuggets beat LA Lakers

In a thrilling battle, the Nuggets overcame the LA Lakers by a margin of 108-106. The Nuggets dominated two quarters and emerged victorious. In the first quarter, the score read 28-24 in favour of Denver. The LA Lakers made a quick and terrific comeback in the second quarter, claiming 29 points and conceding just 22. At the end of the first half, the score read 50-53 in favour of the Lakers.

In the third quarter, the Nuggets made inroads with a handy lead of 2 points. They dominated the quarter by scoring 31 points and conceding 26 points. In the fourth and last quarter, both teams claimed 27 points each. Nuggets claimed an impressive 108-106 win to beat the Lakers. The fans enjoyed watching the thriller.
