Before the Indiana Fever (19-18) took on the Las Vegas Aces (23-12) on Friday morning, rookie Caitlin Clark expressed her affection for teammate Lexie Hull on her birthday. Throughout the season, Hull and Clark have gotten closer, which has added to the Fever's remarkable team chemistry and their recent on-court success.

Indiana has secured a postseason berth for the first time since 2016 and has won eight of their last 11 games with three games left. The squad had a great time celebrating Lexie Hull's birthday, even though their attention is still on the Aces and the remaining games of the season.

Although Caitlin Clark is well-known for her intense and competitive personality, she also has a grounded side in her relationships with teammates and supporters. The best illustration of that is this birthday celebration for Lexie Hull. They formed a circle at center court during the morning shootaround, and Clark grabbed the spotlight. She started strolling around the circle, singing "Happy Birthday" to Hull and even picking her up.

WNBA fans were quick to express their appreciation for rookie Clark when she posted her version of "Happy Birthday" on Indiana Fever's social media account. They also questioned how anybody could have anything bad to say about her. Clark's stats for the season are 19.1 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game on average.

Caitlin Clark has had a lot of viral moments despite having one of the most incredible rookie seasons in WNBA history. Players from all across the league have shown their disapproval of her and her large fan base through their postgame comments and on-court altercations.

Caitlin Clark is clear favorite to win Rookie of the Year

In terms of points, assists, steals, and field goals made, she topped all rookies. She also has the most assists in the league. With two consecutive victories for Player of the Week and Player of the Month, Clark is clear favorite to win Rookie of the Year. She has also been one of the WNBA's most spectacular players recently.

One cannot ignore the team's recent achievements without bringing up Hull. Half of her last ten games have seen her score double figures, with games containing 22 and 17 points. The record for the most assists in a single WNBA season is about to be broken, though, by Clark. All she needs is five more to beat Alyssa Thomas's 2023 record of 316.
