The Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun's second game got off to a scorching start, and things got heated when 'Rookie of the Year' Caitlin Clark had a spectator ejected from the arena. Clark notified officials about a boisterous supporter seated close to mid-court late in the first quarter. Shortly after this, the fan had being approached by security, who then took him out of the game.
According to a follow-up report, the fan was permitted to go back "after discussing with security." For the record, there was a definite growl from Caitlin Clark as he took the floor. She collided with the Sun forward after a three-point try, and she later shoved and spoke with DeWanna Bonner earlier in the first quarter.

Caitlin Clark had an incredible season
With four assists, three rebounds, and six points at the end of the first quarter, the 2024 No. 1 selection ended with a two-of-four shooting percentage. Just 6:25 into Game 2, Indiana Fever led 13-4, thanks to their emotional surge, but things would settle down for Clark and co.

The incredible youngster had to face defeat as Indiana Fever lost 87-81 to Connecticut Sun in Game 2, scoring 25 points and passing out nine assists. Compared to her postseason debut, when she only scored 11 points on 4 of 17 shots, this was a far better night. Clark had a record-breaking WNBA season both on and off the court. She surpassed the record for the most assists in a single season and set the league record for the most individual games played (19). Even though Clark only participated in 40 games, he broke the rookie record for the most points in a season.
