This week, WNBA player Caitlin Clark's surprise sporting skill was made public by teammate Lexie Hull of the Indiana Fever. A video of Clark making up commentary during a Milwaukee Brewers vs. Philadelphia Phillies MLB game was posted on TikTok by Hull. Although Clark was only enjoying himself while watching the game in their hotel room, she has some ability.

Clark, who is 22 years old, is well-connected in the sport. As a young girl, she played softball before committing herself fully to basketball. In the meanwhile, Connor McCaffery, Clark's boyfriend, played basketball and baseball in college at Iowa, while her father, Brent Clark, played baseball at Simpson College. Additionally, Clark has attended a number of MLB games, including ones held at Yankee Stadium.

Along with breaking numerous other milestones, Clark established the record for the most points in a rookie season in WNBA history this year and led the league in assists. However, it appears that Clark could have a successful career in commentary after basketball. With her fantastic first regular season coming to an end on Thursday, the No. 1 overall pick is getting ready to lead Indiana in the postseason. With her first season average of 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game, Clark is a certain to win first of the Year.

Indiana Fever back in playoffs of after 2016

Thursday marked Clark's final game of her rookie year, and her stats will go down in WNBA history. Caitlin Clark has amassed the second-highest number of 3-pointers in a season in league history after playing in 40 WNBA games. She also owns the records for rookie triple-doubles, points, assists, and 3-pointers, as well as the WNBA single-season and single-game assists records.

It was only appropriate that the most people ever attended WNBA regular season game for Clark. All we can do now is wait and see what transpires as Indiana Fever kicks off their first postseason run since 2016 on Sunday. Clark and the Fever will now play the third-seeded Connecticut Sun in the first round of the playoffs.
