Before the Paris Games, in the U.S. Olympic team's first two exhibition games, Stephen Curry was rather quiet on offence. With fewer than two weeks until his formal Olympic debut, he became much more forceful on Wednesday. With 24 points from Curry and 17 from Bam Adebayo, the United States defeated Serbia 105-79 to move to 3-0 in their five exhibition games leading up to the Olympics in Paris.

With seven points, six rebounds, and six blocks throughout the game, Anthony Davis contributed to the U.S. defence's effort to keep Serbia in check the whole time. With 16 points was Anthony Edwards. LeBron James scored eleven more. James said that Stephen Curry's burst of scoring the opening nine points for the United States was intentional.

As per AP News, LeBron James said, “We drew it up for that particular reason, to get him going.” “He sees one go through the hoop, you see what it opens up for the rest of his game, for the rest of the game for all of us. He set the tone.”

During their warmup games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates USA took 31 points lead in the last two games. Now, Team USA will be heading to London for their two games before getting ready for the Paris Olympics 2024. In London, they will face South Sudan and Germany at London’s O2 Arena.

Impressed with the progress of the team - Steve Kerr

Steve Kerr coach of the U.S. insists that he is impressed with the progress of the team and stated that looking at the defensive side will be important. In the second quarter, the US took advantage by 56-42 and then had a lead of 59-45 before halftime.

“I think the identity of the team is our depth, the strength of the team is the depth,” Kerr said. “If we can play in 4- or 5-minute bursts of intense defence, hitting bodies, rebounding, being physical, then it makes sense to play that way. We’ll see if we can keep doing it.”

For Serbia three-times NBA MVP Nikola Jokic scored 16 points and 11 rebounds while his teammate Aleksa Avramovic scored 14 points. This was Serbia's second game in the last two days they were coming from the loss against Australia in which their captain Bogdan Bogdanovic. Meanwhile, both Serbia and the USA are placed in Group C in the Olympics.
