'You don’t need that stuff to stay relevant'- Rudy Gobert reacts to Shaquille O'Neal's criticism

In one of the recent interviews, Shaq was asked about the worst NBA player of all time. The USA star took the name of Rudy and Ben Simmons. Gobert did not take it and replied with a tweet. The star player claimed that it was sad for someone like Shaq to speak about his finances and accomplishments. Rudy felt there was no need for the USA star to do things like it to stay relevant.

"It is sad to see someone that has accomplished as much as you did Shaq both in sport and business still be triggered by another man’s finances and accomplishments. I get the entertainment part but unlike other folks, you don’t need that stuff to stay relevant," wrote Gobert. He would be hoping to perform well in the upcoming NBA 2024/25.
