During the last game of the regular season, Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid will miss the game against the Brooklyn Nets due to an injury in his left knee in their last game. While for Philadelphia 76ers they have a chance to finish at No.6 position in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, they can also finish in fifth to eighth positions. They can only finish in fifth position if they win the match and the Indiana Pacers lose the match.

On Friday night in the game against Orlando Magic, Joel Embiid got injured in the left knee in the last minutes of the first half. However, Joel Embiid has missed 29 games for the Philadelphia 76ers after getting injured with a torn meniscus in January in a game against the Golden State Warriors. This injury happened in the second quarter with just 1:40 minutes remaining as he landed unusually.

Injury concerns for both teams

Even Though Joel Embiid continued his play later halfway he gave up. But in the second half of the match, he returned to play and ended up getting 32 points, seven assists and 13 rebounds. Since making his comeback from injury in April 2 he has managed to play only five out of six games and has an average of 30.4 points and 9.2 rebounds. A year after winning the NBA MVP award, Embiid concluded the season with an average of 34.7 points and 11 rebounds in 39 games.

Meanwhile, Joel Embiid was not the only one. The Philadelphia 76ers have a couple of players on their injury report. The Brooklyn Netts injury report was loaded from the start. Sunday's game is far more important for the Philadelphia 76ers, although both teams will be without their star players.
