The All-NBA teams were revealed on Wednesday night, including Denver Nuggets MVP center Nikola Jokic, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic. The three MVP candidates were chosen to the All-NBA first team, which also included Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.

The second-team selections included New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, and Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant.

The third team was made up of guards Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James of the Lakers, and Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings.

Jokic and Gilgeous-Alexander were unanimously selected as first-team members, receiving 99 out of 99 votes. Dončić received 98 first-place votes and one second-place vote, just missing out on unanimity. Giannis Antetokounmpo got 88 first-place votes. Tatum totalled 65.

Jaylen Brown had the most votes (50) without being selected, followed by Paul George (16), Tyrese Maxey (16), Rudy Gobert (12), Victor Wembanyama (11), and Zion Williamson (11).  Jokic's sixth All-NBA selection comes after winning his third MVP trophy in four seasons on May 8.

LeBron James again makes it to the All-NBA team

With his 20th All-NBA selection, LeBron James became the league's oldest player at 39 years old. He was also the youngest All-NBA pick, making the second team in his second season at the age of 20, and is the only player in league history to have 20 All-NBA honors.

Doncic, Edwards, Tatum and Haliburton are the All-NBA choices currently left in the playoffs. The Western Conference finals between Edwards' Timberwolves and Dončić's Mavericks began with the announcement of the teams. Tuesday night in the Eastern Conference finals, Tatum's Celtics defeated Haliburton's Pacers in a thrilling Game 1.
