According to reports, in the 2024/25 contract, he gets $4.5 million, but now the new contract gives him an $8.5 million raise. He won the NBA Coach of the Year award in the 2022/23 NBA Season. They last appeared in playoffs in 2006. This season Sacramento Kings finished the season with 46 wins and 36 loss and finished on night position and were in a play-in spot. They won the Play-in tournament against Golden State Warriors but couldn’t get pass through New Orleans Pelicans

Since the franchise came to Sacramento Kings in 1985, only Brown and Rick Adelman have led the Kings to a winning season. Brown has a 441-286 career record for Cleveland, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Sacramento. This season's No. 9 seed, the Kings defeated the Warriors in the play-in tournament before being eliminated by the New Orleans Pelicans.
