On Tuesday night Sacramento Kings defeated Golden State Warriors by 118-94 as Keegan Murray scored 32 points and De’Aaron scored 24 points. This win made Sacramento Kings play New Orleans on Friday night to book their spot in playoffs as the eighth seed in the Western Conference as they are coming back after 16 years of a long gap.

Sacramento Kings got their revenge for 7 defeats at home against the Golden State Warriors. The loss knocked Golden State out of the playoffs for the third time in five seasons, including two eliminations in the play-in round. The Warriors committed 16 turnovers, surrendered 15 offensive rebounds, and missed far too many open 3-pointers, looking nothing like the dynasty squad that won four championships between 2015 and 22.

The crowd was energetic from the very beginning, though it didn't quite match the excitement of last year's game when Sacramento supporters celebrated the end of a record-long playoff drought.

During the game Golden State Warriors point guard Klay Thompson was not on the mark as he missed all his 10 shots from the field and Stephen Curry also had a poor game as he managed to score only 22 points as he was chased by Keon Ellis.

Keon Ellis took charge for Sacramento Kings

While Keon Ellis, who was undrafted and on a two-way deal until February, scored 15 points to go with his outstanding defence. Sacramento's Harrison Barnes scored 17 points, while Domantas Sabonis added 16 points and 12 rebounds.

In the first quarter of the Keegan Murray took charge as Sacramento Kings grabbed the lead of 16 points and by the half time they were 54-50. Golden State pulled within one early in the third quarter, but Sacramento replied with a 19-5 victory helped by a pair of 3-pointers by Ellis to restore the margin to 15 points.

For Golden State Warriors this season comes to an end but for Sacramento Kings, they will face New Orleans Pelicans in the next match of Play-in to go ahead in playoffs.
