Setting the scenario this week, there are just 10 days left in the regular season, and several teams are still making their last push. Perhaps it is too late for Timberwolves standout Anthony Edwards to be seriously considered for MVP. But can voters truly dismiss an electrifying high-flyer like Edwards if Minnesota wins the Western Conference while losing a four-time All-Star, Karl Anthony-Towns, for nearly a month.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will start road games with the Phoenix Suns on Friday and Los Angeles Lakers. As of now, Anthony Edwards is placed in ninth position in the Kia Race to MVP Ladder.

Anthony Edwards got his breakthrough in five-for-12, 3-point shooting range on Wednesday. He scored 28 points and led the Minnesota Timberwolves to their second win over Toronto. He will be against Devin Booker, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, and Anthony Davis in the next three games for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
