Milwaukee Bucks emerged victorious in the 5th game of the NBA Playoffs against Indiana Pacers. The fact that the Bucks managed to crush the Pacers 115-92 without some of their key players speaks volumes about their bench strength. The Bucks were without the services of two of their key players Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo who are out of action due to injuries.

While Giannis has a left calf strain, Damian Lillard sustained a right Achilles tendinitis. Yet, the Bucks did not complain and instead humbled the Pacers in a one-sided game. At the start, the Pacers dominated the game. In the first quarter, they had a lead of 31-23. A lead of 8 points led many to think that the Bucks missed their key players. However, things changed drastically from that point.

The Bucks made an incredible comeback in the second quarter. In the phase, the Bucks claimed a huge lead of 30-17 to have the lead of 53-48 in their favour by the end of the first half. Milwaukee's defense was brilliant and they did not let the Indiana Pacers claim a lot of points. To contain the highest-scoring team of the series to under 100 points twice in the season is a commendable effort.

Milwaukee Bucks script history with their latest win

In the third quarter, the domination of the Bucks continued as they made the period their own with a lead of 34-19 in the period. By the end of the third quarter, the score read 87-67. A 20-point lead was massive considering only one-quarter of play was left in the Playoff game. Even in the fourth quarter, the Bucks dominated with a scoreline of 28-25.

Giannis and Lillard are the top two scorers for the Bucks this season. The home side scripted history by becoming the first team to win an NBA Playoff match without their top two highest scores. There is a gap of two days before the sixth game and the key players can recover in the period. Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis starred for the Bucks by scoring 29 points each.
