While A'ja Wilson is dominating the floor in the WNBA, her association with Nike is expanding, with Nike presenting the Las Vegas Aces forward's new trademark logo on Saturday. The emblem, a stylized "A," will appear on items from Wilson's trademark collection, which will be released in 2025. Wilson's trademark sneaker will be named the "A'One."

She announced her Nike partnership in May after speculation over why the two-time MVP and two-time Defensive Player of the Year didn't have her own shoe. Taking to Instagram, the 27-year-old forward posted a picture of herself wearing a sweatshirt saying, "Of Course I Have a Shoe Dot Com" - which led directly to Nike's press release.

Wilson follows Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and Caitlin Clark who signed a $28 million contract with Nike in April—as the fourth active WNBA player to secure a shoe deal with the company.

Wilson is also the first Black woman to get a shoe deal with Nike since Sheryl Swoopes in 2002, and the first to have a trademark shoe since Candace Parker with Adidas in 2010. Wilson, who now leads the league in points and rebounds per game at 27.8 and 11.3 respectively, is having another fantastic season.

The two-time WNBA champion is a big draw for Las Vegas Aces fans, who have been selling out Las Vegas home games at a record rate this season. The Aces have struggled more than expected this season, finishing 8-6, but have just rebounded with decisive wins against the Seattle Storm and Connecticut Sun this week.

Wilson is a two-time WNBA champion who was awarded Finals MVP in 2023. She has also won the WNBA MVP. Wilson won the NCAA title in 2017 with the South Carolina Gamecocks, and she was also named NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
