Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari is the biggest news in this year's Formula 1 season. The 7-time world champion is expected to retire with Mercedes. But the Brit signed a multi-year deal with the Maranello-based Old Horse Ferrari and its stocks skyrocketed within hours.

But all these have led to one good driver losing his seat to the former world champion and he is Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard came into the Italian team with a bigger dream of achieving a Formula 1 world title for Spain since Fernando Alonso.

Carlos Sainz had a good journey with Ferrari as he achieved many podiums and even won last year's Singapore Grand Prix which was the only non-Red Bull win last year. He was expected to renew his contract with Ferrari but The Italians dropped a bomb by signing Lewis Hamilton for 2025. Lewis Hamilton will pair alongside Charles Leclerc for the next season. After four seasons with Ferrari Sainz will now move to Williams next season.

Getting Replaced is not a big thing

Talking about this shocking move by Ferrari Carlos Sainz said, “I Have no bad words for Ferrari. I don't think they have any bad words for me either. It is not a relationship that has broken down because we are not happy with each other, but because of a circumstantial cause.” He also believes if Hamilton didn't wish for Ferrari he would have been renewed by the team. He said, “But you can't say no to a seven-time world champion, I understand that it's a relationship that was destined to happen."

Sainz says he won't be following Ferrari next year as he will focus only on his present. He will join Alongside Alex Albon at Williams which is a mid-field team, unlike Ferrari which is a top-tier team. But Carlos has no worries about that as in his 10-year Formula 1 career he has spent 7 years in mid-field teams like McLaren, Renault, and Toro Rosso and says he will adapt quickly.
