Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has said he is very curious to race against Lewis Hamilton after the latter comes to Ferrari next year. Hamilton, after his long and successful journey at Mercedes, will now move on to the Italian team for the 2025 season.

The seven-time Formula 1 world champion will replace Carlos Sainz and will be looking forward to ending Ferrari’s title drought since Kimio Raikonnen won for them in 2008. Charles Leclerc has a total of 7 victories in Formula 1, including 2 victories this season. He is very curious to put up a fight against his new teammate Hamilton next year.

Curious to test Hamilton

Leclerc said. “I will be super curious to see what he has done right for all his career to have had all the success that he’s had. He has very little weakness - well actually, I don't know any weakness of Lewis. He’s a super strong driver, always there, super fast, super consistent. It will be super interesting for me to learn from Lewis, as much as show what I am capable of in the same car as Lewis. These two things motivate me a lot.”

Many believe Leclerc can dominate Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari as the driver from Monaco is travelling with the Italian team for a long period. Leclerc said, “Well that's good to hear. I don't think about what the expectations are because for me I have just got to focus on what I have to do. I always like to focus a lot more on the process to try and achieve great things instead of thinking about the great things and then thinking about the process.” Charles Leclerc has always dominated his teammate in any team.

In his early days, he dominated his teammate Marcus Ericsson in Alfa Romeo and even in Ferrari during his first season he dominated his teammate Sebastian Vettel. Only Carlos Sainz has come neck to neck with Charles in terms of pace and wins. Leclerc expressed he will now learn a lot from Lewis Hamilton when he arrives at Ferrari next year.
