Adrian Newey will join Aston Martin next year after his long stint with Red Bull Racing and Christian Horner. Adrian made headlines by banking a 20 million Euros-a-year deal with Aston Martin Aramco racing. Talking about this Former Formula 1 Driver and F1 Great Michael Schumacher’s brother Ralf Schumacher took a dig at Red Bull racing and its boss Christian Horner for leaving Adrian Newey. He said, "Aston Martin's Gain is Red Bull’s Loss."
Red Bulls 2026 regulations car is ‘Nonsense’
Ralf called Red Bull Boss Christian Horner’s claiming they are on a good path with the 2026 regulations as ‘Nonsense’. He says, “Without newey's input Red Bull Might not be good after all.” He believes Aston Martin will make a miraculous leap after getting inputs from Adrian Newey once he joins Aston martin next year. “Adrian just wants to do Motorsport. He wants to have enthusiastic people around him who have no sensitivities, and only one goal: to build fast cars and win races,” he added.
Adrian Newey will join Aston Martin in March 2025. He will be the new managing technical partner and will lookafter the 2026 car's development. Schumacher says Adrian needs to feel comfortable and should have absolute trust which recently he didn't find in Red Bull. There have been rumors that team principal Christian Horner and Motorsport advisor Helmut Marco had some fight inside the team.
Rumors suggest Jos Verstappen the father of reigning world champion Max Verstappen wants his son to move to Mercedes from Red Bull. Ralf says “Everybody wants to be in the winning team and so does Max Verstappen”.
But Mercedes Quashed the rumors by signing Kimi Antonelli as Lewis Hamilton Replacement. So, Verstappen will be racing for Red Bull Next year. Ralf Schumacher says, “The performance is no longer there. That’s something he has to accept,” referring to Horner. He also believes without bringing good performance and results for the team Christian Horner could no longer survive as the team principal at Red Bull Racing.
Ralf Schumacher was also a Formula 1 driver. He made his debut in 1997 season. He raced for teams like Jordan, Williams, and Toyota and has achieved numerous podiums and wins. The 49-year-old now confirms his relationship with Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne. He got separated from his wife Cora Brinkmann with whom he has a son named David Schumacher a racing driver.
