The Williams Rookie driver Franco Colapinto was very impressive in his debut Formula 1 season, having scored points in 2 races out of his 4. The Argentinean driver replaced the American driver Logan Sargeant who managed to score only one point out of 36 race starts in Formula 1.
Colapinto came for the last nine races, but unfortunately, he came 2 months late as Williams had already signed Carlos Sainz who was out of the Maranello squad after Lewis Hamilton entered the team. A great talent like Colapinto shouldn't be wasted by sitting in some F1 team as a reserve driver. This season has become a Rookie season as many teams are bringing in their own Rookie drivers for the future of the team.
Will we see Colapinto Next year?
But there is still some hope left for the Argentinean driver as there are seats left at Sauber and probably with Red Bull too. Red Bull, known for nurturing youth talents, will also be keeping an eye on Colapinto for the future. As of now, Sergio Perez is the driver in danger as he is struggling to score points.

Liam Lawson, the new emerging star at Red Bull’s junior team, has already impressed the Austrian squad by finishing P9 starting from P19 at the US Grand Prix. He and his teammate Yuki Tsunoda will fight hard in the remaining 5 races to catch the Red Bull seat leaving a vacant position in the VCARB team.
Colapinto could target that vacant seat to drive at next year's Formula 1 season. There is also some information from an official source about talks that happened between Colapinto’s manager and a Mystery F1 team boss over the telephone for a driver seat for Colapinto next year.
Red Bull Boss Helmut Marko also praised Franco Colapinto’s Performance in recent races. He said, “We see it with Colapinto as a relatively inexperienced and not very successful guy in the junior series, although it must be said that he never had the top teams, but what an incredible performance he is having now. I think he has a long-term contract with Williams. He will be someone in the future. What he showed was very good both in Baku and in Singapore.”
