When Charles Leclerc lost a hard-earned fifth place to Alex Albon due to a chaotic series of incidents, his displeasure during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix escalated to rage. A badly timed Virtual Safety Car (VSC) and a controversial order to give up his place wounded the Ferrari driver, who had started 11th, after he had fought his way through the pack.
Charles Leclerc was told to retrace the maneuver after passing Albon late in the race, which put the Williams driver into the gravel. This sparked a furious outburst. After the race, Leclerc didn't hold back and let his rage run through the team radio when Ferrari told him to give Albon back fifth place. "That's how racing is now? When you can't pass, you need to let pass. This is a f**king joke. What did I do wrong?" he was furious on the radio.
When Albon, equipped with DRS, tried a daring maneuver around the outside of Tamburello but bailed into the gravel, Leclerc and teammate Lewis Hamilton were able to pass. Ferrari warned Charles Leclerc to give up the place 1 order to avoid penalties, but the stewards subsequently confirmed that, as the move was voluntary, no further action was required. Due to this, his rhythm got disturbed and which led to loose his track position.

Ferrari collected 20 points at Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Charles Leclerc showed off Ferrari's increased racing pace by overcoming this and moving up from eleventh to sixth. But the turmoil with Albon in the end overshadowed his efforts to get better. Despite the chaos, Ferrari managed to collect 20 points and maintain their fourth-place position in the Constructors' Championship thanks to Leclerc's sixth-place finish and Hamilton's fourth.
The SF-24's race-day pace gave optimism, especially after both cars finished outside the top 10 due to a poor qualifying performance. The driver's desire for cleaner weekends was highlighted by Leclerc's post-race attitude, which was a mixture of anger and doubt on the race day.
