Williams driver Carlos Sainz is an ex-Ferrari driver, and he joined the British team in 2025 after Lewis Hamilton’s arrival. Before that, Carlos and Charles were very close friends, and they often spent time together. Not only Leclerc, but his dog Leo is also more attached to Sainz. A recent video shared by the Williams F1 team shows Leclerc’s dog Leo in the Williams garage.

The reason for that is Charles Leclerc’s girlfriend, Alexandra, and Sainz’s girlfriend, Rebecca Donaldson. The two became friends when Charles and Carlos were both driving for the Ferrari team. Now Carlos has moved to the Williams team, but the friendship continues.

During race weekends, Alexandra takes care of Leclerc’s dog, Leo. She went to meet Rebecca, who was in the Williams Garage during the Miami Grand Prix. She took Leo with her, and the dog seemed to enjoy the time. Previously, it was spotted with Lewis Hamilton, where the seven-time world champion was talking with Alexandra outside the garage.

The Spanish driver is having a great time at the Williams Racing team. He is improving the car with all the knowledge he received from the Ferrari team. Leclerc has now become the top driver on his team, keeping Hamilton behind in points.

Williams is looking to grow stronger with Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, and it is one of the strongest driver pairs this year. They are bringing points consistently to the team, and Williams is now the fifth strongest team on the grid.

They are also hoping to make the most out of the two drivers, and their race pace has also improved drastically compared to last year. For many years, they didn't have race winners; now they have Alex and Carlos, who are quick and, at the same time, more experienced.

After a disastrous 2024 season, Williams are slowly pushing boundaries, and if they keep up the pace, they will soon become one of the top teams in Formula 1. Ferrari are struggling with their car, and many are hoping that after the Imola GP, everything will come in hand for them.
