Actor and Endurance racer Ajith Kumar shocked everyone by finishing third in the Endurance racing series in Dubai last week. His team ‘Ajith Kumar Racing’ in its maiden race made India proud and a lot to cherish. The Endurance series is one of the toughest and gruelling race competitions. The teams and drivers should drive for 24 hours without any breakdowns and win the race competition. The competition tests the grit and fighting spirit and ‘Ajith Kumar Racing triumphed in the challenge by finishing on the podium.
AKR was led by Ajith Kumar a popular Indian actor, especially in Kollywood along with drivers like Cameron McLeod, Mathieu Detry and Fabian Duffieux who also takes responsibility as the team's manager. The team entered the racing competition with a Porsche 911 GT3 car and participated in the 991 category. During the Practice session, Ajith Kumar had a massive crash in one of the corners that wrecked the complete front side of the car.
Ajith Kumar is racing after a decade-long gap, so the team decided to give him more time and continued with the rest of the three drivers. But Ajith drove a Porsche Cayman GT4 car for the Razoon team as an independent driver and finished fourth in its category after an early setback of facing a breakdown. They even won the Team Spirit award.

AK sets the Tone in Portimao
The Actor is now in full swing to learn more about racing and went to Portugal for the Sprint challenge in the tricky and challenging Portimao Racing circuit. Under his team driver Detry’s guidance he set one of the best laps in the circuit with 1.50.918s at the 4.653 KM long track.
Ajith Kumar Racing posted the video on the X page with the onboard video of the actor and racer himself driving the Porsche car. As we said the track was very tricky for him to keep hold within the track limits. He went wide on the main corner where he clocked the highest speed of 269 km/h.
AK has cleared that ‘He can’t sail two boats at the same time’, so he will not sign any new movies until the end of the racing season. After the racing season is over, he will again act in movies till the next season starts. Ajith plans to do racing for a longer duration so fans can see him in action, both in the reel and the real world.
