Actor Ajith Kumar's battle against Ex-Formula 1 drivers Mazepin and Prost in 24h Endurance series

Indian actor and racing driver Ajith Kumar ‘aka’ Thala will compete against former Formula 1 drivers Nikita Mazepin and Nico Prost in the 24h Endurance racing series.

Indian actor and racer Ajith Kumar will face former Formula 1 drivers Nikita Mazepin and Nico Prost, son of 4-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost, in the 24-hour endurance racing series. The actor started his qualifying session in the 992 category, which has 7 teams in total.

The 24-hour endurance racing series starts in Dubai at the Dubai Autodrome. He is participating in the 992 and GT 4 categories. In 992, he competes as the driver and owner of 'Ajith Kumar Racing' alongside other drivers Fabian Duffieux, Mathieu Detry, and Cameron McLeod. In the GT4 category, he races for an independent team called 'Razoon more than racing'.

Fight against Formula 1 drivers.

After more than a decade, the actor has again come back to racing, and this time with his own team. He faces stiff competition from former Formula 1 drivers Nikita Mazepin and Nico Prost. Mazepin was the Russian F1 driver who raced for the Haas F1 team in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He is now participating in the GTX category.

The other driver Nico Prost was the son of Former Formula 1 driver and four-time world champion Alain Prost. The French man was one of the legends in Formula 1, and Ajith Kumar will now race against his son Nico, an ex Formula 1 driver. 

N.Prost is part of the Renault F1 team and Lotus Renault F1 teams. He raced in Formula 1 from 2010 to 2014 seasons. He is now participating in the GT4 category. The actor, for the first time in many decades, spoke with the press during the session.

He said racing was his passion and acting was his profession. He also talked about his racing history, which he started in 1993 as a bike racer and in 2004 shifted to cars. Ajith participated in many European championships, but due to his film commitments, he could not pursue them.

Ak said until the racing season is over he would not take up any new film projects and everything needs to wait. The Tamil actor sets a great example for following passion. 'There is no age limit to go behind for what you love the most.' He is over 50 years of age, and at this time he wanted to restart his racing career.
