The 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix was the best race of the season for the Mercedes team. They ended with a 1-2 finish, with George Russell clinching his third race victory and Lewis Hamilton finishing second. The Mercedes team had no idea why they were so fast ahead of Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren.

But they took the victory with both hands and will be heading to Qatar, a similar track to Las Vegas. Though George Russel won the race after starting from the pole position, Lewis Hamilton started 10th after a disastrous Qualifying.  Everyone expected Ferrari's dominance in Las Vegas but Sir Lewis Hamilton showed his pure skills from the opening lap of the race and started to gain positions in each lap.

It's all Lewis Hamilton show

The Las Vegas Grand prix is a narrow street circuit which is having heavy braking corners and some twisty turns. During Qualifying Williams Driver Franco Colapinto suffered a heavy 50G crash after misjudging Turn 16 which is a S turn.

Overtaking here in Las Vegas is the most dangerous thing to do as you need to be perfect in your calculations before any attempt. But for an experience like Lewis Hamilton, evading these kinds of dangerous turns and corners is more of a natural ability. He was flying throughout the race and finally ended up in second position.

The Mercedes driver was top of his game when he had the right machine to fight. And this weekend in Vegas looked like the Mercedes gave him the car which was perfect for him. He started moving places in each lap and finally went to catch George Russell.

At last Mercedes garage breathed some fresh air after all the downfalls they faced throughout the 2024 season. They are still Fourth in the constructors championship. But there are still two races left in the season and Mercedes will keep on pushing for the points.
