The Haas driver had a good opening but while coming into the first corner locked his wheels and collided with Alpine driver Ocon who then collided with Colapinto. Nico had a tyre puncture so he pitted and changed his tyres while Albon and colapinto were out of the race. The same kind of incident happened between Alex Albon and Lance Stroll when the canadian driver collided with the Williams driver.

Stroll was also given a pit stop penalty but he decided to retire from the race as he felt something wrong with his car. The race start was pretty good for Max verstappen as he went ahead of George Russell and is now leading the race. The Qatar Grand Prix is also a very important race for back-end teams like Haas, Alpine and Williams as they are fighting for the 6th place on the grid.

The Alpine had some major success at the Brazilian Grand Prix after their drivers Ocon and Gasly finished 2-3 along with Max verstappen who was the podium winner. But the last race in Las Vegas was a disaster for them after Gasly retired due to engine failure and Ocon had a bad pit strategy which cost him points.
Currently, Yuki Tsunoda, Gasly, and Magnussen are fighting for the points in the top 10. Finishing in 6th place in the constructors will bring the team some more millions which could help them for the next season. But Gasly had to fight alone against Kevin Magnussen who was driving aggressively to get some points for his team. Fernando Alonso is also fighting a lone battle for Aston Martin as he complained about the lack of pace in his car in the straights even with the DRS open.
