Red Bull driver and the 2024 Formula 1 world champion Max verstappen is back in the Pole position at the Qatar Grand Prix. It was the first podium for the 4-time world champion since the 2024 Austrian Grand Prix. After a disappointing Sprint race, Max Verstappen finally put Red Bull back to pole position at the Losail circuit.

McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes were dominant all weekend, while Verstappen and Red Bull were quiet even during the Sprint race. But all of a sudden, everything turned around for Red Bull, and they saw themselves in pole position during the final few minutes of the qualifying session. Max was particularly happy with the pole but was more concentrated on winning the race tomorrow as he wanted to take that seriously.

George Russell and Mercedes were having a great couple of weekends starting from Brazil. He was the fastest man until the final few minutes of Verstappens magic. His last attempt was derailed by Max verstappen coming in between Russell which could have been a big collision for Russell. Sprint Qualifying leader Lando Norris came third next to Russell.

But he would be happy to finish ahead of both the Ferraris as they are both in the constructor's title fight. McLaren already has a good lead over Ferrari and Red Bull in the constructors championship. The only thing they need to do is make sure their drivers get the maximum points out of the race. After winning the Sprint race, Oscar Piastri was fourth next to his teammate and was ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton was again disappointed and was sixth in the qualifying. Carlos sainz of Ferrari was seventh overall.

Fernando Alonso put on a valiant effort after coming late to the track for having only one shot at the lap time finishing eighth ahead of Red Bull driver Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen in 9th and 10th positions. Pierre Gasly also tried hard but could only manage 11th place. Kick Sauber driver Zhou Guanyu was very impressive over the entire qualifying session gaining places but was only 12th ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas who finished 13th.

Yuki Tsunoda also had a good run in the qualifying session but it wasnt enough to be in the top 10, and he finished 14th ahead of Lance Stroll in 15th and Alex Albon in 16th place. Liam Lawson complained about Fernando Alonso coming in between his qualifying laps and had to digest 17th place. The last three drivers are Nico Hulkenberg in 18th who had an extraordinary Sprint race in Qatar GP. Franco Colapinto was 19th ahead of Esteban Ocon in the 20th. The Frenchman complained about his car's chassis and balance compared with his teammate Gasly.
