The F1 2025 Japanese GP is over, and Max Verstappen is back to the pole position after last year's Qatar Grand Prix. The race was boring for many fans as they didn't see any live action either in the front or back of the grid. Fortunately, there were no crashes or collisions in the race as all 20 drivers kept it clean. Many teams chose a one-stop pit strategy with medium and hard compound tires. Some teams were successful with their plans, but some were disappointed with the way the race ended.

Here are ranking the top 5 winners list of the 2025 Japanese GP

1. Mercedes

The most impressive team was Mercedes; they managed to put both their drivers inside the points table. Particularly Kimi Antonelli, who was racing for the first time in Japan. He was the fastest driver on the toughest track, which shows his capability as a driver at this young age. George Russell, as usual, was very consistent with his pace and points. They are the best team in Japan, seeing their team results.

2. Red Bull

Nobody gave a chance to the Red Bull team in Japan and the Austrian team again surprised everyone with the race pace they gave to Max Verstappen. Of course, the Dutchman was behind their success over the last few years. If Yuki Tsunoda had finished the race inside the points table, Red Bull would have been overjoyed by the results.

3. McLaren

The championship leaders are still the strongest and fastest team on the grid. But today’s results wouldn't please them as much as they expected. Many believe they weren't too aggressive during the start, which has cost them the race. Still, P2 and P3 are a dream result, and we think McLaren will bring a new strategy to stop Max in the next race.

4. Ferrari

The Maranello team is nowhere in the picture, but still, they are on the winner's list because they did their best in regaining lost positions. In fact, Lewis Hamilton gained one position from Isack Hadjar to P7.  Charles Leclerc amazingly held off George Russell behind him and finished in P4.

5. VCARB

5. Williams Racing

Alex Albon was again outstanding for Williams Racing, and he finished in P9. But there is still some issue with Carlos Sainz, who is adapting to his new team. Everyone knows he is one of the best and most consistent drivers, and we expect him to bounce back in a few races.

4. Haas

Oliver Bearman had a great weekend in Japan, but his teammate Estaban Ocon was nowhere to be found. He finished in 18th position, only ahead of Bortoleto and Stroll. They are struggling with consistency and strategy errors, which should be rectified soon.

3. Alpine

The French manufacturer had no peace all weekend; their only hope was rain. But it didn’t show up, and they had no choice but to follow the strategy. Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan tried hard to enter the top 10, but their car didn’t allow them to do so.

2. Aston Martin

Aston Martin are losers at the 2025 Japanese GP

We still don't know what is happening with the Aston Martin team. At one point, they were like the next big thing in F1. But in the last two years, they have been going on a downward slope, and with Adrian Newey’s arrival, everybody thought they would become a new force in Formula 1. But still, their car lacks pace and has balance issues.

1. Kick Sauber

Sauber are losers at the 2025 Japanese GP

Overall an average race weekend for the future Audi team, with Nico Hulkenberg finishing in P16 and Gabriel Bortoleto in P19. The Suzuka track's twists and corners didn't help the Sauber cars, as both were out of the points table.
