The Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen is in the USA where he is preparing for the Las Vegas Grand Prix this week. But before that, he was seen testing a different kind of car apart from his regular Formula 1 Red Bull car. The car is Honda’s very own GTP Acura which was designed for the Le Mans Daytona category.
It looks like Max Verstappen is already looking at other Motorsport opportunities apart from Formula 1. As Verstappen always says he will not stay longer in Formula 1 like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. Even his teammate Sergio Perez acknowledged that in a recent interview.

The Dutch driver achieved everything he could in Formula 1 and as of now, it's up to him whether to continue in the pinnacle of the sport or leave as a champion and try some other sport as he wishes to do. Max Verstappen also tested the Indy car along with the GTP car.
The event was hosted by the Honda group for Red Bull so every other driver including Sergio Perez, Yuki Tsunoda, and Liam Lawson were all present during the event. They also tested these cars along with the reigning world champion. Endurance racing is the most grueling race for all the drivers as they need to race for many hours without stopping and losing concentration. Verstappen will be the perfect driver for these kinds of races as he was born for racing.
The 24-hour Daytona is also a popular racing championship in the US and Max Verstappen can join as one of the 8 drivers to have the opportunity to test his endurance skills next year in January. The GTP Acura has a 2.4-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine and can go up to a speed of 340 KMPH.
