WATCH: Max Verstappen teases George Russell with hilarious Twitch username

Red Bull driver and regening world champion Max Verstappen is not just known for his intense racing style but also for his sharp sense of humor off the track. In a recent interview with his team Red Bull, the Dutch Formula 1 champion playfully suggested that his long-time competitor and friend, George Russell, should take up streaming on Twitch. 

However, Verstappen cheekily proposed that Mercedes drivers should adopt a hilarious username i.e. ‘Mr. Shirtless’ on the popular platform. Notably, Verstappen is an avid Twitch streamer himself. He urged Russell to join the platform to showcase his racing skills in simulation games.

With a mischievous grin, Max Verstappen explained that Russell known for his dedication and tireless efforts with Mercedes despite a tough season could bring some extra entertainment to his followers by combining his talents with a bit of humor. According to Verstappen, Russell could belt out a few songs and show off his physique during his streams.

A mixed season for George Russell

George Russell has been giving his all for the Silver Arrows this season, where the results have been mixed. His performance often reflects the challenges Mercedes has faced in maintaining a competitive edge. Despite the pressure of the final six races, Verstappen’s lighthearted comment adds a fun twist to their rivalry.
